About the Role
As Sales Executive Sr Lead, you will drive the expansion of FIS’s Enterprise Risk Suite across Europe, engaging Tier1 and Tier2 banks, capital markets firms, insurers, and other regulated financial institutions. You will lead complex, consultative enterprise sales cycles focused on enabling clients to transform their risk management capabilities, modernize legacy systems, and adopt unified, scalable risk infrastructure. This role requires deep knowledge of financial risk domains, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Technology, and Transformation. You will serve as a strategic ambassador for FIS's risk solutions and play a critical role in driving growth for one of FIS’s highestvalue solution areas.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Development
Develop and execute an enterprise sales strategy for the Enterprise Risk Suite across European markets.
Identify priority institutions undergoing regulatory change, model modernization, risk digitization, or infrastructure transformation.
Build a robust pipeline aligned to regional growth objectives and solution focus areas.
New Business Acquisition
Lead fullcycle enterprise sales engagements from prospecting to deal closure.
Drive netnew revenue across banks, securities firms, insurers, and buyside organizations.
Position the Enterprise Risk Suite as a cornerstone of clients’ future-state risk architecture.
Client Engagement & Solution Positioning
Engage Csuite, CRO, CFO, Head of Risk, Head of Finance, COO, and Transformation leaders.
Conduct deep discovery to understand risk frameworks, regulatory drivers, technology stack constraints, and model governance maturity.
Build compelling ROI, costreduction, and riskoptimization value propositions.
Collaboration & Deal Execution
Partner with Product, PreSales, Risk SMEs, and Delivery to define solution scope, architecture, and execution strategy.
Lead RFP/RFI responses, pricing strategy, commercial negotiations, and contracting activities.
Provide accurate forecasting, maintain CRM hygiene, and ensure transparent pipeline management.
Market & Product Expertise
Stay informed on regulatory trends affecting European institutions (Basel IV, IRRBB, ICAAP/ILAAP, ESR, CRR3, digital operational resilience, stress testing requirements).
Represent FIS at risk summits, CRO forums, regulatory roundtables, and industry events.
Provide structured market feedback to Product Strategy and Senior Leadership.
What You’ll Bring
Proven track record selling enterprise risk, regulatory, analytics, or financial technology platforms into financial institutions.
Strong understanding of risk modelling, regulatory frameworks, and enterprise risk management practices.
Experience selling multistakeholder, highvalue solutions across European financial services markets.
Established relationships with CRO, Risk, Finance, and Technology leadership.
Exceptional storytelling, commercial negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
Fluency in English; additional European languages advantageous.
