Banfico is a growth-stage SaaS fintech involved in designing and launching innovative Verification of Payee & Open Banking solutions. We are a bootstrapped profitable organisation with corporate presence in Europe, LATAM and the Middle East. Our portfolio of clients contains more than 200 financial institutions including some large banks.
We are looking for a proactive and versatile Business Development Executive with a strong background in B2B sales and an interest in the fintech and Open Banking domains. This is a commercial role requiring excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to confidently engage with decision-makers at financial institutions.
Roles & Responsibility
- Proactively generate and manage a pipeline of outbound and inbound leads
- Handle end-to-end sales cycle, including discovery, presentations, negotiation and closure
- Develop and execute sales plans aligned with KPIs and revenue targets
- Produce and share mailshots, newsletters and updates on regulatory and product developments
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, events and lead generation initiatives
- Advise prospects on regulatory obligations and how Banfico’s solutions meet their needs
- Provide input to product teams based on client feedback and market insights
Required skills & experience
- At least 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in fintech, banking, or payments
- Experience with consultative and solution-based selling
- Previous experience in pre-sales or client demo environments is a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders
- Experience working towards KPIs and commercial targets
- Multilingual in European languages is highly desirable
- Motivated, self-driven, and capable of working independently in a remote environment
- Willingness to travel within Europe for conferences, workshops, internal events and client visits
