Senior Sales Engineer – Banking, France

Remote role with some travel to Paris for customer sites

 

The Opportunity

A fast-scaling, Series F Decision Intelligence/Financial Crime vendor are looking for an exceptional candidate to join a high-performing Solution Engineering team in EMEA, based in France. You will work closely with regional peers across Alliances, Sales, Marketing, and Product to support and win strategic sales opportunities.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Communicating the value and impact of a leading Decision Intelligence and analytics platform, enabling smarter, faster, and more confident decision-making through connected and trusted data
  • Identifying and positioning the right solution tailored to each prospect’s specific needs
  • Guiding prospects through a clear, outcome-driven solution strategy that sets the stage for long-term value
  • Supporting Solution Engineering activities for sales opportunities under the guidance of senior team members
  • Collaborating with commercial teams, product experts, and subject-matter experts to deliver impactful pre-sales engagements
  • Learning to identify and articulate customer challenges, showcasing solutions with clarity and confidence
  • Assisting with product demonstrations and presentations, and gaining exposure to opportunity qualification processes
  • Supporting the design and execution of tailored Proofs of Concept (PoCs) addressing key customer business problems
  • Communicating platform value effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Representing the organisation at industry events and contributing to thought leadership as your expertise grows

 

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in a technical customer-facing role (Solution Engineering / Presales / Technical Sales / Value Consulting) selling enterprise software to Tier 1 French banks
  • Experience in at least 2 solution areas (e.g., Financial Crime, Data Management, Customer 360), with deep expertise in at least one for banking
  • Confident presenting and pitching to senior stakeholders at Tier 1 banks
  • Able to bring innovation + best practices to Solution Engineering teams
  • Fluent in French and English (extra languages are a bonus)
  • Strong knowledge of data + analytics solutions, such as: Entity Resolution, Graph Analytics, Advanced Analytics, Master Data Management
  • Banking domain expertise in areas like: Risk, Anti-Financial Crime, AML / KYC, CRM, Customer Intelligence
