Introduction
The Technology Business Development Specialist contributes directly to business growth by supporting the development and expansion of technology solutions with clients and partners.This role is client‑facing and impact‑driven, focusing on identifying opportunities, shaping value propositions, and supporting client initiatives in collaboration with technology teams.The position offers exposure to customers, markets, and strategic initiatives, making it ideal for professionals motivated by business impact, client engagement, and technology‑led growth.
Your role and responsibilities
  • Identify and support the development of new business opportunities related to technology solutions and services.
  • Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into technology‑driven value propositions.
  • Contribute to initiatives, pipeline development, and market expansion activities.
  • Collaborate closely with technology, delivery, marketing, and customer success teams to drive adoption and client engagement.
  • Support the preparation of client presentations, proposals, and business cases.
  • Monitor market trends and client feedback to continuously improve positioning and business approach.
Required education
Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
Education:Degree from a Business School or a Technical institution in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.Communication and language skills:Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and deliver impactful messages. Fluency in French and Professional English is required.Teamwork and collaboration:Strong team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and levels within IBM and with clients.Experience:Experience in business development in Infrastructure sales and/or information technology is required.
