A VC-backed B2B SaaS scale-up expanding across the UK and Europe is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support its next phase of commercial growth.

The company provides a cloud-based platform designed to help organisations streamline and optimise key operational workflows, and has seen strong customer adoption across multiple European markets. With continued investment and increasing demand for its technology, the business is now expanding its commercial team to accelerate growth across new and existing markets.

This role offers the opportunity to join a high-growth environment where you will play a central role in developing new client relationships and contributing directly to the company’s revenue growth.

The Role

The Business Development Manager will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities while working closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to expand market presence across the UK and Europe.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and engaging prospective clients across the UK and European markets
  • Managing the full business development cycle, from prospecting through to closing new opportunities
  • Building relationships with senior stakeholders including founders, directors, and C-suite leaders
  • Conducting discovery calls and product demonstrations to understand client needs and present tailored solutions
  • Developing strategic partnerships and channel opportunities where appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline management and forecasting within the CRM system
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client success

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account growth within a SaaS or technology environment
  • Strong track record of generating new business and managing the full sales cycle
  • Ability to build relationships with senior decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Commercially driven with excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience selling into UK and/or European markets is highly advantageous
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced scaling organisation
