Location: France (Paris preferred, flexible/remote)

Sector: Energy Storage Systems (ESS) / Renewable Energy

Package €80,000 - €100,000 + variable + benefits + car /car allowance

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a driven and commercially sharp Sales Manager to lead our growth in the French Energy Storage Systems (ESS) market. This is a pivotal role focused on expanding our presence, securing strategic customers, and delivering revenue growth in a rapidly evolving sector supporting the energy transition.

You’ll be at the forefront of France’s shift toward renewable energy, helping utilities, developers, and industrial clients integrate cutting-edge storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow ESS business across France
  • Identify, target, and secure new clients including utilities, IPPs, developers, and C&I customers
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closing
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Lead commercial negotiations for supply agreements, EPC contracts, and long-term service deals
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and project teams to deliver tailored solutions
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity in France
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in sales within energy storage, renewables, or the wider energy sector
  • Strong understanding of the French energy market and regulatory landscape
  • Demonstrated success in closing complex, high-value deals
  • Existing network across utilities, developers, or industrial energy users in France
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Fluent French and English (essential)
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience selling ESS/BESS solutions
  • Knowledge of grid services, flexibility markets, and revenue models
  • Technical understanding of energy storage technologies and integration
