Business Development Consultant (French Market – NGOs & Associations)
Part-time | Remote | French Market
Relief Applications is a European organization that develops technology and services for humanitarian and nonprofit organizations worldwide.
Through our Data Protection 4 Good (DP4G) initiative, we provide outsourced Data Protection Officer (DPO) services, GDPR compliance support, audits, and training tailored to NGOs, associations, and humanitarian organisations.
We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager to grow our client portfolio in France and help mission-driven organisations strengthen their data protection practices.
What you'll do
You will take ownership of the full sales cycle for our outsourced DPO services:
- Identify and qualify French NGOs, associations, foundations, and humanitarian organisations.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline.
- Conduct outreach and generate qualified opportunities.
- Present and pitch DP4G services to decision-makers.
- Manage client discussions, negotiations, and contract closing.
- Work closely with our data protection experts during the sales process.
- Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales reporting.
- Share market insights and contribute to improving our commercial strategy.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in business development, B2B sales, account management, or partnerships.
- Ability to work independently and manage the full sales cycle.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Native or fluent French.
- Comfortable using CRM tools and managing a structured pipeline.
Nice to have
- Experience selling subscription-based, consulting, or professional services.
- Knowledge of the nonprofit, association, or humanitarian sector.
- Familiarity with GDPR or data protection topics.
- Professional English.
