About the position

Internship available in Paris (starting in September) at sunday, a rapidly growing startup.

This internship is an ideal opportunity to discover the world of SaaS sales within a fast-growing tech startup, with complete immersion in business development and sales prospecting.

On a daily basis, you will work alongside the Sales and Marketing teams to identify new partner restaurants, qualify leads, and generate concrete sales opportunities. You will have a direct impact on sunday's growth and quickly develop key skills in sales, negotiation, and customer relations.

This internship may lead to future permanent positions at sunday for the highest-performing interns, depending on the company's needs and available positions.

Key responsibilities

Prospecting & opportunity generation

  • Generate qualified appointments for sales representatives through telephone prospecting, email marketing, and social media.
  • Identify high-potential prospects by geographic area or restaurant type
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of Sunday's prospecting strategies
  • Guiding prospects throughout the sales funnel, all the way to generating business opportunities.
  • Develop an excellent understanding of the restaurant industry and Sunday solutions in order to identify the most relevant clients

Collaboration & analysis

  • Collaborating closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align strategies and share feedback from the field
  • Actively participate in team meetings with fresh ideas and positive energy.
  • Track KPIs related to opportunity generation and produce a weekly report

Job KPI

  • Number of qualified appointments generated for sales representatives (target: 8/week)
  • Number of business opportunities created
  • Number of deals signed thanks to your contribution

Customer relations

  • Building quality relationships with prospects to maintain an excellent brand image
  • Understanding the needs of restaurant owners and proposing solutions tailored to their challenges

 

Profile

No prior sales experience is required: we are primarily looking for curious, motivated individuals eager to learn and grow.

 

You will succeed in this role if you enjoy interacting with new people, achieving ambitious goals, and thriving in a dynamic and demanding environment.

  • Student in a business school, hotel school or equivalent program
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong communication skills
  • Comfortable speaking in public and interacting with clients and prospects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English
  • Ability to work independently while also enjoying teamwork
  • Strong interest in sales, business development and customer relations
  • Interest in the restaurant, hotel and tech sectors
  • Adaptability, proactivity and positive energy
