About the Role

Amazon Ads is seeking an Account Executive to join the Adapt Team in Europe. This role is based in Paris and offers the opportunity to work within a pioneering team that is redefining customer engagement through a combination of human expertise and AI-enhanced analytics.

Amazon Ads helps brand advertisers, agencies, authors, and entrepreneurs achieve measurable business outcomes through advertising solutions including Prime Video Ads, Twitch, Fire TV, and other innovative platforms. By leveraging Amazon’s customer insights and technology, advertisers can build brand awareness, increase sales, and engage audiences throughout their daily journeys.

The Adapt Team operates differently from traditional sales organizations. Team members rotate across multiple strategic assignments, addressing critical business needs while supporting revenue growth and business continuity across Amazon Ads. This model provides accelerated professional development through exposure to diverse business challenges and customer engagements.

This is a highly agile role requiring ownership of deliverables across multiple teams and accounts simultaneously. The position supports Amazon Ads businesses across the EU5 markets and includes significant travel.


Key Responsibilities

Drive Revenue Growth

  • Generate advertising revenue through both advertising agencies and direct advertisers.

  • Sell objective-based advertising solutions across Streaming TV, video, and other brand-building formats.

  • Identify and develop incremental revenue opportunities across multiple books of business.

  • Influence buying decisions to expand existing advertiser relationships and unlock new revenue streams.

Strategic Sales Support

  • Provide seamless sales coverage and support to ensure business continuity during account transitions and extended leave coverage.

  • Maintain effectiveness and customer engagement while supporting strategic Amazon Ads priorities.

  • Deliver measurable business outcomes across multiple assignments simultaneously.

Business Development & Relationship Management

  • Act as a proactive hunter, identifying opportunities and connecting customer needs with value-driven solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agencies, advertisers, and key decision-makers.

  • Establish credibility within the TV, streaming, and digital advertising landscape.

  • Partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders to drive customer success.

Programmatic Advertising Leadership

  • Demonstrate expertise in programmatic advertising, including:

    • Amazon DSP

    • Third-party supply sales strategies

    • Digital media planning and execution

  • Support advertisers in maximizing campaign effectiveness through advanced advertising solutions.

AI-First Selling Approach

  • Leverage AI-powered tools and technologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.

  • Embrace emerging technologies to enhance sales execution and decision-making.

Travel & Market Coverage

  • Travel across EU5 markets to support customer engagements and assignment-based work.

  • Expected travel requirement: up to 50%.

Basic Qualifications

  • Business-level fluency in English and French.

  • Deep understanding of digital media and the broader marketing landscape.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with emerging technologies and AI-driven solutions.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong track record of:

    • High-level negotiations

  • Experience in:

    • TV advertising

    • Streaming TV (STV)

    • Video advertising

    • Digital advertising sales

    • Agency or client-side environments
