About the Role

As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be a key member of Workday's Field Sales organization. With a focus on generating net-new revenue, you will drive customer acquisition and help organizations transition from legacy platforms to Workday's modern enterprise management cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities within your assigned territory.

  • Conduct account planning and coordinate with pre-sales and cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment.

  • Lead sales efforts for Workday solutions within large enterprise prospect accounts.

  • Effectively communicate and demonstrate Workday's value proposition.

  • Build and develop relationships with net-new customers, particularly around core financial solutions.

  • Manage opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to close.

  • Negotiate complex agreements with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and customer data.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize account growth and customer success.


Required Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience selling SaaS or cloud-based ERP, HCM, Financial Management, Planning, or Analytics solutions to C-level executives.

  • 5+ years of field sales experience.

  • 5+ years of experience collaborating with internal teams such as pre-sales, value consulting, and inside sales.

  • 5+ years of experience managing long and complex sales cycles, including prospecting activities.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of the competitive landscape and industry trends.

  • Ability to identify customer needs and effectively position Workday solutions.

  • Proven ability to establish trust and credibility with executive stakeholders.

  • Experience partnering with internal teams to develop short- and long-term account strategies.

  • Strong territory management and prospecting skills.

  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills.


Compensation (France)

Base Salary Range

€80,700 – €121,000 EUR

Compensation is determined based on factors including:

  • Relevant experience and skills

  • Educational qualifications

  • Scope and responsibilities of the role

  • Work location

  • Business needs

In addition to base salary, eligible employees may receive:

  • Performance bonuses

  • Sales commissions (where applicable)

  • Annual stock refresh grants

Flexible Work Approach

Workday Flex Work Model

Workday combines the benefits of in-person collaboration with remote flexibility.

Employees are expected to spend at least 50% of their time each quarter either:

  • In the office, or

  • In the field with customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role)

This approach allows flexibility while ensuring meaningful opportunities for collaboration, relationship-building, and teamwork.

Remote employees also have opportunities to gather in Workday offices for important team and company events.
