Position Overview

Associate Account Executive (AAE)

The Associate Account Executive (AAE) plays a critical role in expanding Techcyte's customer base by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing opportunities with laboratories across Europe.

As one of the first points of contact for prospective customers, you will work closely with Account Executives, Product teams, and Sales teams to move opportunities through the early stages of the sales process—from initial outreach through product demonstrations and preliminary evaluations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career sales professional interested in healthcare technology, laboratory diagnostics, and SaaS sales.

Location

  • Remote within Europe

  • Candidates must currently reside in and be legally authorized to work in a European country

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Qualification

  • Prospect, qualify, follow up with, and educate a high volume of leads.

  • Identify laboratory challenges, business needs, and workflow issues.

  • Effectively communicate Techcyte's value proposition and solutions.

Sales Development

  • Generate qualified sales meetings and opportunities for Account Executives.

  • Conduct discovery conversations and gather relevant prospect information.

  • Ensure accurate lead qualification and handoff processes.

Sales Cycle Support

  • Partner with Account Executives throughout the early phases of the sales cycle.

  • Support prospects through initial evaluations and assessment processes.

  • Help advance opportunities from first contact through demonstration stages.

Relationship Management

  • Build relationships with:

    • Laboratory professionals

    • Scientific stakeholders

    • Technical decision-makers

    • Internal and external partners

  • Develop trust through phone, email, and virtual meetings.

Partner & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Establish and maintain relationships with channel and strategic partners.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth prospect experiences.

  • Collaborate across departments to move opportunities forward efficiently.

Sales Operations & Performance

  • Consistently achieve activity and revenue-related quotas.

  • Utilize Techcyte's CRM and sales enablement platforms effectively.

  • Track, report, and analyze lead and pipeline metrics.

Travel

  • Occasional travel for conferences, industry events, and prospecting activities.


Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.

Preferred Academic Backgrounds

  • Microbiology

  • Laboratory Science

  • Life Sciences

  • Related scientific disciplines

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional sales role (any industry).

Communication Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to engage scientific, medical, and technical audiences effectively.

Sales Competencies

  • Understanding of sales processes and qualification methodologies.

  • Ability to identify customer pain points and business challenges.

  • Strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Technical Skills

Preferred but not required:

  • HubSpot CRM experience

  • Google Workspace proficiency

Compensation

Base Salary

€30,000 – €35,000 EUR

On-Target Earnings (OTE)

€42,000 – €50,000 EUR

Compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated performance.
