About the Role

Account Executive – UK & Nordics

As an Account Executive, you will lead DeepIP's expansion across the UK and Nordic markets, selling AI-powered patent drafting and IP management solutions to legal and intellectual property professionals.

You will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation through contract negotiation and customer expansion.

This role is ideal for a highly driven SaaS sales professional with experience selling into complex enterprise environments and a passion for AI, innovation, and legal technology.


Key Responsibilities

Territory & Account Management

  • Build and manage a strategic target account list across the UK and Nordic regions.

  • Develop market penetration plans to drive customer acquisition.

  • Prioritize high-value opportunities within legal and IP-focused organizations.

Full-Cycle Sales Ownership

Manage every stage of the sales process:

  • Prospecting

  • Discovery

  • Product demonstrations

  • Business case development

  • Negotiation

  • Contract execution

  • Relationship expansion

Enterprise Sales Execution

  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.

  • Engage both executive decision-makers and operational users.

  • Drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.

MEDDIC Sales Methodology

  • Apply MEDDIC qualification principles throughout the sales process.

  • Maintain high-quality CRM hygiene and pipeline documentation.

  • Ensure a minimum 3x pipeline coverage relative to quota targets.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with:

    • Patent attorneys

    • IP professionals

    • Innovation leaders

    • Legal teams

    • Executive stakeholders

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer challenges and business objectives.

Product Demonstrations & Value Selling

  • Deliver impactful product demonstrations and presentations.

  • Clearly articulate DeepIP's value proposition and return on investment.

  • Translate complex AI capabilities into practical business outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with:

  • Marketing

  • Product Management

  • Leadership Teams

  • Customer Success

Provide market feedback that informs:

  • Product roadmap decisions

  • Go-to-market strategies

  • Messaging improvements

Sales Process Optimization

  • Contribute to the evolution of DeepIP's sales playbook.

  • Document best practices and lessons learned.

  • Support scalability as the company grows.


Required Qualifications

Sales Experience

Business Development Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR) or similar role.

  • Proven success in highly personalized, consultative outbound prospecting.

  • Experience targeting educated and demanding buyer personas.

Account Executive Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience as an Account Executive in a high-performance SaaS environment.

  • Proven ability to manage complex enterprise sales cycles.

Deal Size Experience

Demonstrated success selling software solutions with annual contract values (ACV) between:

$50,000 – $250,000

Language Requirements

Required

  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
