Navan is seeking ambitious and highly motivated Associate Account Executives (AAEs) to partner closely with experienced Account Executives (AEs) throughout the entire sales cycle.
This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to enterprise sales by supporting prospecting, opportunity development, stakeholder engagement, and deal execution. You'll learn directly from veteran sales professionals while developing the skills required to progress into a full Account Executive role.
As an AAE, you will play a critical role in generating new business by driving sales activity across early, middle, and late stages of the sales process.

This position provides:
Direct mentorship from experienced Account Executives
Exposure to complex B2B sales cycles
Experience with enterprise-level stakeholders
Hands-on training in modern sales methodologies
A clear growth path toward an Account Executive position
Support pipeline generation and opportunity creation through proactive prospecting activities.
Conduct account and prospect research
Develop tailored email outreach campaigns
Execute outbound phone prospecting
Schedule and conduct discovery calls
Identify potential customer pain points and business needs
Log and track sales activities in CRM systems
Maintain accurate prospect records and engagement history
Assist Account Executives in progressing opportunities through qualification and stakeholder engagement.
Map prospect organizational structures
Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers
Conduct targeted outreach campaigns
Gather competitive and organizational intelligence
Nurture relationships with relevant contacts
Participate in MEDDPICC qualification processes
Collaborate with AEs to develop account action plans
Support opportunity strategy and progression
Help prepare opportunities for successful closure and customer onboarding.
Assist in creating customer-facing presentations
Prepare internal deal review materials
Support business case development
Coordinate with Account Management teams
Collaborate with Launch and Implementation teams
Ensure smooth customer handoff after contract signature
2+ years of progressive experience in client-facing roles
Experience interacting with senior business stakeholders, including:
C-Suite Executives
Vice Presidents
Directors
Department Leaders
Ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior decision-makers
Strong relationship-building capabilities
Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Strong organizational and execution skills
Experience using data to identify opportunities and improve processes
Analytical mindset with attention to detail
Experience with:
Salesforce (preferred)
Sales pipeline management tools
Customer engagement platforms
Familiarity with modern sales enablement tools
Ability to maintain accurate CRM data and reporting
