The Marketing, Business Development, and Communications team plays a critical role in defining and executing the firm's global client strategy.
The team supports partners and lawyers in:
Building trusted advisor relationships with clients.
Developing long-term institutional client partnerships.
Winning new business opportunities.

Strengthening its position as a leading international law firm and thought leader.
The function operates as one integrated global team, working closely with Communications, Business Development, Events, CRM, sector groups, practice groups, and client teams across all offices.
Reporting to the Marketing, Business Development & Communications Department in France, you will actively contribute to the definition and implementation of business development and marketing strategies for the French practice while collaborating extensively on European and global initiatives.
As a strategic business partner, you will work closely with lawyers and marketing professionals across the global network to develop, execute, and measure high-impact business development, marketing, and communication initiatives.
A key responsibility of the role is ensuring that campaigns, client development initiatives, and business proposals generate measurable business value and return on investment (ROI).
Develop Marketing & Business Development action plans in partnership with partners and associates.
Define and manage budgets for assigned practice groups and sector teams.
Align local initiatives with European and global business development strategies.
Coordinate responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Lead the production of client pitches and commercial proposals in both English and French.
Ensure the highest quality standards for all business development materials.
Redesign and optimize proposal processes, tools, and best practices.
Create client presentations and package service offerings for prospects and existing clients.
Support lawyers in managing relationships with strategic and priority clients.
Promote cross-selling opportunities across client accounts.
Organize client roadshows and relationship-building initiatives.
Participate actively in European and global business development campaigns.
Share best practices across offices and regions.
Support cross-border business development initiatives.
Conduct strategic market research and competitive analysis.
Monitor industry developments and client activity.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Manage submissions to leading legal directories, rankings, awards, and league tables.
Coordinate annual submission processes and response strategies.
Ensure consistent positioning of the firm's expertise and achievements.
Collaborate with lawyers and internal teams to strengthen brand visibility and market positioning.
Develop communication strategies for practice groups and industry sectors.
Design and execute 360-degree marketing campaigns, including:
Thought leadership publications
Client communications
CRM campaigns
Webinars
Social media initiatives
Public relations activities
Work closely with local teams and global centers of excellence to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Measure campaign effectiveness and business impact.
Analyze ROI across marketing and business development initiatives.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Master's degree (Bac+5 equivalent) from:

University

CELSA
Or a related institution
