Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager based in Toulouse, you will play a key role in Deliveroo's expansion across France.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will join an ambitious and results-driven sales team focused on accelerating business growth through the acquisition and development of restaurant partners.

You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, negotiating with, and onboarding new restaurant partners while ensuring a high level of partner satisfaction and performance after launch.


Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

  • Prospect and develop commercial relationships with potential restaurant partners through both telephone outreach and field sales activities.

  • Maintain a consistent daily prospecting activity, including cold calling and lead generation.

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within your assigned territory.

Sales & Negotiation

  • Present Deliveroo's services in a clear, professional, and compelling manner using the company's sales methodology and tools.

  • Lead commercial negotiations with prospective partners.

  • Successfully close new partnership agreements in a timely manner.

  • Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets and performance objectives.

CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.

  • Manage lead pipelines and follow-up activities effectively.

  • Ensure visibility of sales activities and opportunities through proper reporting.

Partner Success & Relationship Management

  • Support newly onboarded restaurant partners after launch.

  • Monitor partner performance and satisfaction on the Deliveroo platform.

  • Build long-term relationships to maximize retention and growth opportunities.

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Provide regular sales reports and activity updates to management.

  • Monitor progress against KPIs and sales targets.


Candidate Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (Bac+3/Bac+4) or equivalent in:

    • Business

    • Marketing

    • Sales

    • Or another relevant discipline

Professional Experience

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account acquisition.

  • Demonstrated success selling products or services in a commercial environment.

  • Experience managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing is highly desirable.
