Account Executive – Defence & Intelligence (France) | Planet

Planet is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and expand strategic relationships within the French Defence & Intelligence sector. The role involves owning the complete enterprise sales cycle—from identifying and qualifying opportunities to delivering executive presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing complex, high-value deals. You will work with government agencies and defense organizations, develop strategic account plans, collaborate closely with Pre-Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams, and position Planet's satellite imagery and geospatial intelligence solutions to address mission-critical customer needs. The ideal candidate has significant enterprise B2B sales experience, preferably selling to government, defense, intelligence, aerospace, or geospatial markets. Strong consultative selling, executive stakeholder management, negotiation, forecasting, and CRM skills are essential, along with the ability to manage long, complex procurement cycles.
