A fast-growing, human-sized company (+15% annual growth), it continues to expand internationally and is looking for a Freelance Business Developer to drive business development across a strategic European territory.

Reporting to the Sales Director and Regional Sales Managers, you will:
Develop new business opportunities across your territory.
Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
Build partnerships with defence institutions, military organizations and major system integrators.
Represent the company at international trade shows and industry events.
Gather market insights and support the Product Management team.
Deliver on-site product demonstrations with HQ support.
You will manage complex sales cycles (12-24 months) with deal sizes ranging from €500K to €5M, selling to military organizations and leading defence companies such as Thales and Safran.

Profile:
At least 5 years of business development experience
Proven experience selling to military organizations and/or defence contractors.
Autonomous, organized and results-driven.
Willing to travel frequently across your territory.
Fluent in English.
Looking for a freelance opportunity (this is not a permanent position).
This is a freelance opportunity with a fixed retainer and variable compensation. The compensation package is flexible and can be tailored to the experience and profile of the successful candidate.
