Job Description
You will work closely with the founders to turn founder-led sales into a repeatable, scalable sales motion. Concretely, you will:
Generate pipeline through outbound (calls, emails, LinkedIn, events, etc.) and help establish a predictable acquisition motion
Own the full sales cycle from first touch to close, with a strong focus on closing consistently and predictably
Sell to Presales, Proposal Managers, Security, and Sales leaders across mid-market and enterprise B2B SaaS, and beyond
Co-sell with the founder on strategic deals, then help make those wins repeatable
Turn ambiguity into execution in an environment where a lot still needs to be built
Bring structure where it counts (follow-ups, deal control, CRM hygiene) so the motion can scale past you
This role marks a pivotal chapter for Steerlab as we evolve from founder-led deals into a repeatable sales engine, ready to be scaled across a growing team.
Preferred Experience
You're hungry, hands-on, and you thrive when a lot is still undefined. You:
Have 4+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, from demand gen through to closing, ideally in an early-stage or fast-moving environment
Have done real outbound in the trenches and don't hide behind inbound or brand
Are comfortable with high activity levels and sustained outbound volume
Are technical enough to run your own demos and speak credibly about the product
Want to help build the sales motion, not just run someone else's playbook
Are coachable, direct, and comfortable with frequent, honest feedback
Are fluent in English (French is a plus)

Recruitment Process
Our hiring process is designed to identify sales profiles who thrive in early-stage environments, take ownership, and know how to create and close opportunities in the real world.
Initial interview (30 min): your background, your numbers, your sales story, and context on the role. A mutual fit check.
Sales working session (60 to 90 min): how you actually sell. A pitch exercise, a 30-day pipeline-creation plan, and a live mock call. We care how you think, react, and execute.
Final conversation and culture fit (30 min): align on expectations, ways of working, and values, plus reference checks.
