Regional Account Manager

Êtes-vous un leader stratégique orienté client avec une solide expérience en gestion de réunions, d'événements et de comptes ? BCD M&E recherche un(e) Regional Account Manager expérimenté(e) pour développer et renforcer des relations clients clés, garantir l'excellence opérationnelle et assurer un succès durable. Ce poste est consacré à 50 % à un client local du secteur des sciences de la vie et à 50 % à des comptes locaux ou régionaux majeurs.

En tant que Regional Account Manager, vous serez amené(e) à :

Gestion Des Clients Et Des Comptes


Développer et renforcer les relations clients sur les comptes attribués
Piloter la stratégie des comptes, la fidélisation et les initiatives de croissance
Garantir un haut niveau de qualité de service et la satisfaction client
Définir et mettre en œuvre des objectifs à court et long terme avec les clients
Organiser des réunions régulières avec les clients, y compris des revues annuelles de comptes
Agir comme principal point de contact entre les clients, les équipes opérationnelles et les départements internes
Suivre les attentes des clients et adapter les approches de service en conséquence


Suivi Financier Et Budgétaire


Gérer la performance financière des comptes, y compris la budgétisation et les prévisions
Produire des reportings mensuels sur les dépenses, les économies et la rentabilité
Identifier de manière proactive les écarts budgétaires et proposer des solutions


Support Opérationnel Et Leadership


Fournir une direction claire et un leadership aux équipes opérationnelles
Collaborer étroitement avec les parties prenantes internes et externes
Assurer la cohérence des prestations, de la qualité et des délais
Contribuer à la résolution des défis opérationnels quotidiens à un niveau stratégique


Fournisseurs, Reporting Et Technologie


Suivre l'utilisation des fournisseurs référencés et garantir la conformité
Superviser des reportings précis et ponctuels des dépenses fournisseurs
Identifier des tendances via les analyses et recommander des améliorations
Conseiller sur les besoins de reporting spécifiques aux clients et les solutions technologiques associées
Se tenir informé(e) des tendances du marché, des benchmarks et des offres BCD M&E


Vous Excellez Dans

Expérience confirmée en gestion de comptes / relations clients
Expérience confirmée dans l'organisation de réunions et d'événements

Expertise dans l'analyse de données
Excellentes compétences en communication et en gestion des parties prenantes, y compris la prise de parole en public et les présentations
Capacité à gérer les relations clients en développant et maintenant la confiance et la fidélité dans la durée
Aptitude à identifier les besoins clients et à y répondre de manière créative, en écoutant, en posant des questions pertinentes et en proposant des solutions
Capacité à gérer plusieurs clients et marchés
Disponibilité pour des déplacements selon les besoins, notamment pour les réunions clients et les événements de networking
Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais
Bonne connaissance des outils de gestion d'événements et de Microsoft Office

About The Role

Are you a strategic client leader with a strong background in meetings, events, and account management? BCD M&E is looking for an experienced Regional Account Manager to lead and grow key client relationships, deliver operational excellence, and drive long-term success.

In this role, you will be responsible for the retention, strategic development, and management of assigned accounts, while ensuring exceptional client service and strong leadership. This position is split 50% supporting local life science client and 50% supporting major local or regional accounts.

As Regional Account Manager, You Will

Client & Account Management


Own and strengthen client relationships across assigned accounts
Lead account strategy, retention, and growth initiatives
Ensure high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction
Develop and implement short- and long-term account goals with clients
Conduct regular client meetings, including annual account reviews
Act as the key link between clients and operational teams and any internal departments
Monitor client expectations and adjust service approaches as needed


Financial & Budget Oversight


Manage account financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting
Report monthly on spend, savings, and profitability
Proactively identify budget variances and recommend solutions


Leadership & Operational Support


Provide clear direction and leadership to operational teams
Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders
Support consistency in service delivery, quality, and timelines
Help resolve day-to-day operational challenges at a high level


Supplier, Reporting & Technology


Monitor preferred supplier usage and ensure compliance
Oversee accurate and timely supplier spend reporting
Identify trends through reporting and recommend improvements
Advise on customer-specific reporting requirements and technology solutions
Stay current on industry trends, benchmarks, and BCD M&E products and services


You're Good At


Maintaining the highest level of quality, professionalism and integrity when negotiating with suppliers and dealing with clients and colleagues
Proven experience in account / client management role(s)
Proven experience within the meetings & events industry
Experience influencing stakeholders
Proven track record of successful negotiation
Expertise in deriving insights from data and analytics
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including public speaking and presentations
Competency to manage client relationships-establishing, developing and maintaining client trust and loyalty over time and through changes
Ability to identify customer needs and respond creatively listening to information, asking probing questions, applying knowledge and determining solutions
Ability to manage multiple clients and markets
Ability to travel as required for client meetings and/or networking / industry or key client events
Fluent in French and English
Proficiency in event management tools and Microsoft Office applications
Experience in pharmaceutical meeting / congress sector is a strong advantage
