We are seeking an accomplished Enterprise Account Executive to own and accelerate growth within a select portfolio of Autodesk's most strategic Automotive and Transportation customers.
This is a highly strategic, senior sales role focused on creating significant new business growth inside a small number of global enterprise accounts based in France. Success requires identifying and developing new executive relationships, expanding into new business units and buying centers, uncovering transformational opportunities, and leading complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
As the executive owner of your accounts, you will define and execute long-term growth strategies, act as a trusted advisor to C-level and senior business leaders, and orchestrate cross-functional teams to deliver measurable customer outcomes while exceeding ambitious revenue and consumption targets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Account Growth
Lead and refine comprehensive growth strategies for assigned enterprise accounts, including EBA and non-EBA customers
Develop multi-year strategic account plans aligned to customer priorities, Autodesk growth objectives, and long-term value creation
Identify and pursue expansion opportunities across new business units, buyer groups, personas, and use cases
Drive buyer seat expansion and product adoption across complex customer organizations
Lead QBRs, executive check-ins, and senior stakeholder engagement to review progress, business outcomes, risks, and future growth opportunities
Innovate account strategies that create scalable growth models and influence broader business outcomes
Revenue Generation & Pipeline Management
Maximize incremental revenue through upsell, cross-sell, upgraded products, new offerings, and EBA token consumption strategies
Own pipeline development, pipeline health, and forecasting accuracy for growth, expansion, and renewal opportunities
Use data-driven insights to assess account potential, customer spend trends, adoption signals, whitespace, and risk
Proactively adjust account tactics based on customer priorities, market changes, competitive dynamics, and business goals
Deliver predictable revenue performance while identifying transformational opportunities that support long-term customer and Autodesk growth
Executive Relationship Management
Build and maintain strategic relationships with C-level executives, senior decision-makers, and key influencers across assigned accounts
Adapt communication style to diverse executive audiences and manage challenging conversations with confidence, empathy, and business relevance
Act as a trusted advisor by connecting Autodesk capabilities to the customer's strategic objectives and transformation priorities
Develop compelling executive narratives that articulate business value, ROI, competitive differentiation, and long-term partnership opportunities
Secure and maintain executive sponsorship for strategic initiatives, commercial agreements, and expansion opportunities
Complex Deal Strategy & Commercial Execution
Lead complex enterprise negotiations, including expansions, renewals, multi-year agreements, and high-value commercial structures
Build value-based business cases that quantify customer impact and support executive decision-making
Navigate procurement, commercial, legal, and stakeholder complexity to progress opportunities and mitigate risk
Mentor teams in complex deal negotiations and help shape strategic deal approaches across large enterprise opportunities
Account Team Unit / Cross-Functional Orchestration
Strategically lead partnerships with the extended sales team, Technical Sales, Customer Success, Consulting, Marketing, Partner teams, and executive stakeholders
Orchestrate the Account Team Unit to co-develop scalable, impactful customer solutions
Align technical discovery, messaging, value proposition, and commercial strategy to customer needs
Drive accountability across internal teams through clear ownership, communication, and execution cadence
Ensure seamless post-sale handoff to Customer Success for onboarding, implementation, adoption, and ongoing relationship management
Serve as an escalation point for customer challenges and internal alignment issues
Partner with Customer Success and Consulting teams to ensure customers achieve measurable business outcomes from Autodesk solutions
Industry, Competitive & Business Leadership
Maintain deep knowledge of the customer's industry, business model, transformation priorities, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment
Translate industry challenges into tailored Autodesk solutions and differentiated value propositions
Provide customer and market insights to internal Sales, Product, Strategy, and Marketing teams
Influence Autodesk's go-to-market approach by sharing enterprise customer needs, competitive intelligence, and emerging market opportunities
Represent Autodesk as a strategic thought partner in executive-level customer conversations
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
10+ years of enterprise sales, strategic account management, or consultative business development experience
Proven success managing complex enterprise accounts and driving significant revenue growth
Experience engaging C-level executives and senior stakeholders across large, matrixed customer organizations
Demonstrated ability to lead complex commercial negotiations, renewals, expansions, and multi-year enterprise agreements
Strong track record of pipeline generation, forecast accuracy, and revenue attainment
Experience leading cross-functional account teams, including Technical Sales, Customer Success, Consulting, Marketing, Partner, Legal, Finance, and Deal Desk stakeholders
Strong business acumen, analytical thinking, executive communication, and consultative selling skills
Native or bilingual proficiency in both French and English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SaaS, subscription, or consumption-based commercial models.
Knowledge of engineering software, manufacturing technologies, or digital transformation solutions.
Experience leading enterprise account teams and cross-functional enterprise sales motions.
Strong understanding of value-based selling methodologies, executive business reviews, and strategic account planning.
Experience working with CRM forecasting, territory planning, and sales analytics tools.
