This role is a senior individual contributor within the Business Development team, responsible for driving revenue growth across the drug development services segment. The position focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and owning sales targets within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
Identify, prospect, and qualify new clients for drug development services, building a robust sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
Own and deliver against individual sales targets and revenue objectives.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and first contact through proposal, negotiation, and closing.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers across pharma and biotech companies.
Provide end-to-end account management across the assigned territory, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
Coordinate complex RFP/RFI responses in collaboration with internal scientific and operational teams.
Attend client meetings in person to present the company's drug development capabilities and tailor the offering to client needs.
Represent the company at industry conferences and deliver oral presentations to prospective and existing clients.
Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and account data in CRM and other commercial systems.
Collaborate with marketing and scientific teams to align go-to-market activities with client demand and market trends.
Monitor market dynamics and competitor activity to inform commercial strategy within the territory.
Your Background
Proven experience in business development or sales of Life Sciences services and solutions to Pharma/Biotech clients in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales targets.
In-depth understanding of drug development and the drug commercialization process, including related analytical/CMC requirements.
Experience within a Contract Research/Development Organization (CRO/CDMO) is a strong advantage.
Scientific background in Pharma/Biopharma development or testing.
Proficiency with CRM and other commercial systems.
Highly skilled at building strong networks both internally and within client organizations.
Analytical, decisive, adaptable, ethical, persuasive, and commercially astute.
Strongly customer-oriented with a deep commercial focus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly developed presentation skills and the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and to industry events.
Fluency in English.
