Supplier Business Development Manager

Location: Europe

As a Supplier Development Manager you are responsible for the development of key supplier strategies, in line with corporate goals and for driving the execution of such strategies. You will work closely with Corporate Product Management, Sales Management, Technical Marketing and Supplier Personnel to implement, execute and follow up on agreed plans. You will be responsible for building key relationship to leverage a preferred position with focus suppliers and create best-in class plans and engagement to allow TTI to attain above average market growth.

Your Responsibilities Include


Create and be accountable for Strategic Business Plans for allocated suppliers including Demand Creation, Sales Growth Goals, Opportunity Management System (OMS), Design Registration (Dreg), New Product Introduction promotional strategies, and Marketing Communications campaigns
Responsible for execution of said plans with the relevant TTI internal and Supplier external teams to meet and exceed goals including sales targets enabling network share gain both at a European and key country level.
Drive enhanced strategies, engagements to leverage preferred programs with suppliers for TTI Europe to gain market share
Management of Supplier Marcom Plan. Agreeing quarterly activities and budgets and assisting Marcom team and Corporate Product Managers to make sure it's properly executed
Organisation and execution of European Business Reviews with relevant stakeholders to maintain drive key growth actions and enhance business engagements
Actively Support regional strategic actions, opportunities and challenges to support the local teams growth their business and supplier engagements including regular presence in Sales Branches to understand key customer requirements and align supplier strategies accordingly
Build close relationships with the Dedicated Supplier Management and Key Account Managers and ensure they are regularly at the key sales branches to execute on local plans and leverage TTI's preferred position as a go to partner for opportunities and programs.
Align and work closely with the Regional Vice Presidents and Branch General Managers to help drive the penetration of our key suppliers into our core markets, industries and customers
Work closely with the Industry Marketing Directors and Regional/ Technical Development Managers to make sure all strategies are executed and that focus markets, applications are included in Supplier business plans and initiatives
Act as a key link with the Product team to raise any shared challenges issues and address as required with the supplier
Develop a good level of general systems knowledge (Express, CAM, OMS) to be able to support sales and technical activities as part of any supplier plans and actions


What You Bring To Us


Minimum of five years experience in the electronic components industry in either product, sales or marketing roles
Good business and product knowledge related to distribution and/or supplier manufacturing
Strong people skills required and ability to manage by influence
Experienced in the New Business Opportunity Identification and Development process at a customer and application level
Strong verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills for communicating, and building relationships, extensive internal and external contacts
Strong in teamwork and operational excellence
Good knowledge of all relevant IT / office applications and CRM Tools
Readiness to travel on a regular basis nationally and internationally
