Job Description
We are looking for Business Development Manager to join our team!
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, collaborative, and results‐oriented Business Development Manager to leverage market intelligence, enable sales across service lines, and champion sector positioning by coordinating cross‐functional teams to drive sustainable growth.
What You Will Be Working On
Market Intelligence & Sector Positioning
Utilize market research, industry trends, and competitive insights to inform business development activities, in collaboration with Market Intelligence & Research team
Attend selected sector specific industry events, conferences, and thought leadership initiatives
Monitor competitor activities, regulatory developments, and emerging sector trends to identify opportunities and risks
Collaborate with the business teams to produce sector insights, benchmarking reports, and thought leadership content
Sales Enablement
Work closely with service line teams to align capabilities with client needs and industry demands
Provide structured business plans and processes to drive sustainable growth across sectors and clients
Work closely with Marketing Communications team to develop compelling client presentations, sales materials, and sector positioning documents and sector specific events
Collaboration & Internal Engagement
Act as a sector champion, fostering collaboration between service lines and industry teams
Organize and facilitate sector-focused business development meetings, workshops
Train and support client-facing professionals in understanding sector dynamics and sales opportunities
Collaborate with other Sector BD Managers to ensure firm-wise consistency
Performance Management (if applicable)
Manage and mentor junior team members
What We Look For
5+ years of business development experience
Proven track record in B2B/professional services business development, managing complex pursuits and multi‐stakeholder sales cycles.
Demonstrated ability to build and convert pipelines, grow key accounts, and position capabilities against client needs and sector demand.
Strong relationship management with C‐suite and senior stakeholders; comfortable orchestrating cross‐functional teams across service lines.
Deep understanding of the Luxembourg business ecosystem
Familiarity with key sectors and their dynamics (e.g., funds/asset management, banking, insurance, private equity/real estate, corporates, public sector).
Knowledge of the regulatory landscape and market drivers, and active engagement with local industry bodies and events.
An established local network and cultural fluency to navigate Luxembourg's multilingual, relationship‐driven market.
Sector positioning and sales enablement expertise
Ability to translate market intelligence into sector strategies, sales plays, and structured business plans that drive sustainable growth.
Experience collaborating with Market Intelligence/Research and Marketing Communications to produce sector insights, client materials, and events.
Skilled at facilitating sector workshops, enabling service line collaboration, and coaching client‐facing teams on sector dynamics and opportunities.
