Business Development Manager - IT Services (Focus on Growth & Strategy)




As a Business Development Manager, your primary mission is to drive growth, develop new revenue streams, and expand Econocom's presence in the IT services market.

You build and execute your own commercial strategy and act as the owner of your business perimeter. The IT staffing/talent part supports your success.




Your Role

1. Core Mission - Business Development & Growth Strategy (Main Focus)

Define and execute a proactive business development strategy aimed at acquiring new clients and expanding Econocom's footprint in the SMB and Enterprise markets.
Identify customer needs, market trends, and emerging opportunities to deliver value-driven, tailored solutions.
Manage the full commercial cycle:
lead generation
prospection & qualification
proposal development
negotiation & closing
client onboarding
Build long-term client partnerships through a strong consultative and solution-oriented approach.
Develop additional business within existing accounts and maintain strong customer relationships (farming).
Handle urgent commercial situations (cancellations, contract changes, etc.) with agility and professionalism.
Manage your own profit center by driving revenue growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.







2. Support Mission - IT Consultant & Staffing Coordination (Secondary Focus)

Collaborate with IT recruiters to match consultants with client needs.
Participate in the onboarding, follow-up, and support of consultants when needed.
Maintain continuity of service and ensure the smooth delivery of missions.




What You Bring

1 to 5 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or recruitment - ideally in IT services or staffing.
Fluency in Dutch and French, with a good command of English.
A strong commercial mindset: negotiation, persuasion, and a clear drive for results.
Ability to anticipate client needs and act quickly and efficiently.
Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
A positive, can-do attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
A valid driver's license.
