Business Development & Sales Manager

As a Business Development & Sales Manager, you are part of the sales team in which you are responsible for the entire sales cycle, from identifying business opportunities to closing the sale.‍

Your role

  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting, to identifying business opportunities to closing the sale
  • Utilizing CRM and networking tools (Dynamics 365, LinkedIn Sales Navigator,…) to identify, follow-up leads and set-up meetings
  • Create & develop your own commercial business in line with our company strategy.
  • Coordinate/ support with Sales colleagues & Marketing in our other locations.
  • Keeping up to date with company products & services
  • Networking with industry professionals & stakeholders
  • Initiating initial contact with inbound leads / prospects
  • Daily maintenance and responsibility for input & data quality in our CRM
  • Participation in events and fairs
  • Develop a genuine knowledge of your prospect’s business and become a trusted advisor
  • Report to the Sales Director
  • Represent and demonstrate our company values, vision and mission

Qualifications

  • You preferably hold a degree in engineering or equivalent in experience.
  • You have a strong sales instinct with proven track record in selling engineering services to industrial companies (services like Process automation, MES/MOM systems, Data Solutions or equivalent)
  • You’re an attentive listener discovering pain points, creative thinker to develop fit solutions and ambitious achiever to turn opportunities into business.
  • People know you as a team player working closely together with technical sales and account managers
  • You can rely on an active network or seeking new opportunities to enlarge your network and impact
  • You’re organized, structured and having the strategic overview of the required status and next steps.
  • You’re a go-getter, deal-hunter with strong negotiation skills
  • You can work autonomous & proactive, managing client relations on a high level..
  • Fluent French & English is a must. Knowledge of another European language is a plus.
