Account Manager (M/F/X)

-Job description:

As an Account Manager , you will play a key role in our growth by nurturing customer relationships, identifying opportunities and proposing solutions that meet customer needs while creating long-term value.

You will dedicate the majority of your time to two main objectives: acquiring new clients  and developing existing ones . You will be expected to take initiative while benefiting from the support of an experienced team composed of Product Managers, Market Managers, and Solution Engineers.

Frequent travel is required (50 to 60% of your time), primarily within your sales territory, but also to meet the team in Benelux, France, Iberia and Italy, as well as to visit HMS headquarters in Sweden.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You are the main point of contact for customers in your region.
  • You align customer needs with our industrial communication solutions, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • You coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders to offer the best solutions to your clients (Solution Engineers, Product Managers, Market Managers).
  • You travel regularly to meet clients face-to-face and build strong relationships based on trust.
  • You will be part of a sales team covering the Benelux, France, Iberia, and Italy regions. In this role, you will report to an innovative manager from the new generation of leadership at HMS.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have experience in a similar role, in account management within the industrial automation sector.
  • You have a practical (“hands-on”) mindset and the ability to anticipate customer needs in order to offer sustainable solutions.
  • You have basic skills in managing sales cycles with internal and external stakeholders, and a strong desire to develop your expertise on more complex processes.
  • You are self-reliant, results-oriented, and able to work independently while teleworking.
  • You have a professional command of French and English (written and spoken).
