Business Development & Marketing Executive

Your role

As part of the Business Development & Marketing team, you will contribute to a wide range of strategic and operational activities:

Main duties and responsibilities:

General BD and Marketing – contribute to the successful implementation of marketing and business development plans, through: 

  • Supporting with both projects and marketing campaigns across the full marketing mix in collaboration with the Business Development Manager

  • Supporting with brand profile and reputation across France and the region

  • Create accurate and engaging documents such as capability statements, client brochures

  • Ensuring key data and information sources are up to date 

  • Supporting with the research and completion of legal directory submissions and tracking results

     

     

Events – working with the Business Development Manager and central events team to support the delivery of events aligned with the marketing strategy. 

CRM – working with the Business Development Manager and Legal PAs to support the utilisation of the CRM database (Interaction).  

Bids – support the generation of new revenue through:

  • Providing support to the Business Development Manager and Central Bids team in applying the firm's bid management process and responding to bidding opportunities.

  • Working closely with the Business Development Manager on English and French language bids

Marcomms -  ensuring that BD materials are branded according to the brand guidelines, including liaising with Design Bar.

Team Support

  • Attend relevant Group and Sector meetings virtually or in person

  • Maintaining core materials and updating reports including firmwide BD activities, competitor activity, media mentions, bids, deals, rankings 

  • Co-ordinating business development meetings as agreed with the Business Development Manager

  • Other responsibilities as directed by the Business Development Manager

 

About you:

Qualifications

  • Degree educated

Experience

  • Prior marketing/BD experience working across the full marketing mix (preferably within a law firm a multinational organisation).

  • Experience in event coordination with a proven track record of successfully planning, executing and following up events 

Skills & attributes

  • Written and spoken fluency in French and English is essential

  • Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, Excel)

  • Interest in creating visuals, new content, formats, in line with our brand identity and our creative team

  • Proven administrative skills and ability to manage own workload and timelines

  • A motivated self-starter who is an excellent team player and loves a challenge

  • Flexible, able to use own initiative, takes ownership for own work, delivers consistent high-quality output

  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Confident and outgoing

  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and provides high quality deliverables

  • Ability to change and adapt in a fast-moving environment
