With 70,000+ Superchargers, Tesla owns and operates the largest global, fast-charging network in the world. Located on major routes near convenient amenities, Superchargers keep our customers charged when they are away from home.

As the expansion of our charging infrastructure continues to grow, we are now hiring a Project Developer to continue to develop the Supercharging network by finding and acquiring the best locations for our Superchargers in France. In your day-to-day activities, you will work on market research, business analysis, development of new business propositions, prospecting potential site hosts, pitching our proposition, negotiating, and closing deals.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify and acquire potential Supercharging locations by connecting with site hosts and presenting our Supercharging proposition
  • Conduct preliminary assessments of potential locations, considering planning/zoning status and power availability
  • Review lease contracts and manage negotiations to secure suitable locations
  • Develop a robust strategy for the Supercharging network across the French market, ensuring an exceptional customer experience
  • Facilitate smooth handover of projects to the construction department, providing support until site commissioning
  • Stay up to date with market conditions, business trends, and news relevant to the charging industry
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum 3 years’ working experience in a commercial/business development role in the real estate, charging, or renewable energy industry
  • Knowledgeable in all facets of the development process, including permitting, contractor selection, and construction implementation
  • Entrepreneurial and data-driven mindset with the ability to find and act on opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and familiarity with CRM software
  • Willingness to travel extensively on a regular basis (3–4 days per week on average, including overnight stays)
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Fluency in English and French
