Regional Account Manager - Public Sector - AURA Region

We are currently seeking a dynamic Regional Account Manager to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.
You would act as the Regional Account Manager for the Public Sector in the AURA region. This role requires a strong focus on developing new customer relationships, opening new opportunities, and expanding Fortinet's presence across the territory. You will work closely with Public Sector organisations, particularly within the COTER ecosystem including communities, CHU, metropolis authorities, departmental councils, and SDIS. The ideal base for this role is Lyon or its immediate suburbs.
As a Regional Account Manager, you will:
Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
Identify, prospect, and acquire new Public Sector customers across the AURA region
Drive adoption of Fortinet solutions across both new and existing Public Sector accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers within COTER organisations
Lead internal teams to deliver high quality proposals, RFP responses, and statements of work
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing
Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
Collaborate with technical, channel, and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Conduct regular customer visits across the region to support business development and account growth
We Are Looking For:
An insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. You may be a strong fit if you bring:
Proven experience in technology sales, ideally in cybersecurity or networking
Experience selling to Public Sector customers in France
Knowledge of IT security technologies such as firewalls, VPN, antivirus, IDS or IPS
Strong understanding of the AURA region and its Public Sector landscape, including COTER organisations
A track record of achieving sales targets through new business development and territory expansion
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non technical audiences
A collaborative, solutions oriented mindset and a passion for helping customers
A resilient, dynamic, and tenacious approach suited to developing accounts and regions
